Chain gives no reason for Champaign restaurant closing
Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza at 2501 N. Prospect Ave., C, is closed.
The Dallas, Texas-based chain didn’t give reasons for the closing, but sent a prepared statement by e-mail that said the decision was made Sept. 16 to leave the Champaign market and look for other opportunities in Illinois.
The Champaign restaurant opened in the spring of 2007.
