The problem with raising the copays and deductibles is not the entire problem with negotiations. The contract proposed from the company wanted to raise the premiums by 80% plus the copay and deductibles while freezing wages for 3 years. They should be flexible in their negotiations. Employees would accept increase in copay and deductibles. They accepted an increase just last year. But the premiums should be raised at a lower rate. The company countered the Union offer by extended the contract to 5 years thereby freezing raises for 5 years.

The only people who are demonizing tradition-minded voters who adhere to Judeo-Christian teachings are one issue people like Peter LaBarbera, founder of Republicans For Family Values. Maybe LaBarbera can stop hating people long enough to realize that gays did not lose the election for the GOP in 2006, but straying away from Reaganomics and fiscal restraint did. Reagan did not hate one person in the Republican party, including people that disagreed with him. Rios and LaBarbera should get off their dead spot and do something constructive for the party for once.
